No, there is only an optical difference between the individual connectors for you. Despite the different optics, a connection is possible without any problems. Also at the function mode, no difference can be recognized since we attach great importance to a high-quality with our plugs.
The cause can be found here in the different connections within a series. In exceptional cases, this may result in the plug supplied not fitting in your vehicle. In this case, please inform our technical customer service, who will immediately arrange for the plug to be replaced.
Since in some workshops relevant data can also be read out of the vehicle during a service check, we advise our customers to completely remove our Maxchip modules before visiting the workshop.
The technology we use has the advantage over OBD tuning that only one indication can be determined. With the complete development of our Chiptuning product you restore however again the complete series condition, whereby it can come in the workshop to no abnormalities with possibly read out values.
