First of all it should be mentioned that there are different approaches to this topic.

On the one hand there is the possibility to positively influence the engine power of a vehicle by a direct intervention into the engine control. In this context the so-called OBD-Tuning is often mentioned.

Another possibility is to increase the electronic performance via an additional control unit, the performance increase offered by Maxchip. In contrast to OBD tuning, no direct intervention is made, but rather the optimisation possibilities of your vehicle are exhausted by means of an additional device – a so-called chipbox.

If you have chosen a diesel performance upgrade from Maxchip, you can also use our box for all other available diesel vehicles. If you would like to change from a diesel vehicle to a petrol vehicle – or vice versa – you can contact our customer service. There you can order an additional cable system for the desired drive class for a small extra charge.

With our Ultra Chip, you as our customer also have the option of installing the Maxchip App on your smartphone and benefiting from a range of further fine-tuning options.
Among other things, you can choose between the three driving modes ECO, Sport and Race.
If you select the Eco Tuning mode in the app, our artificial intelligence kicks in once again. In this mode, the box automatically finds the correct setting to enable you to reduce fuel consumption. Of course, one’s own driving behaviour also plays a certain role. If you drive your vehicle in Eco mode, you should try to shift to the next higher gear at the lowest possible revs.
The Sport mode provides a significantly improved driving feel in the curves, while the Race mode allows you to get the last percent of additional performance increase out of your engine.

Our box not only shines due to its high-tech development, but is also perfectly adapted to the needs and requirements of our customers. Therefore, our trained specialists have created a product that you can also assemble on your car without specialist knowledge or special tools. Simple standard tools are absolutely sufficient for chiptuning installation. In addition, each order placed by you also includes a detailed and pictorially described step-by-step instructions, which makes the installation possible with a few simple steps in about 5-10 minutes.

Yes, we can offer our Chiptuning for new and used cars. Please have a look at our extensive vehicle database and choose the product that is right for you. If you do not find your model there, please contact our customer service. Please note: For vehicles over 200,000 kilometres on the speedometer reading, we, unfortunately, cannot offer you an included engine warranty.
Yes. In general, this question cannot be answered because your personal driving style plays an important role here. If you push the newly gained engine power to the limit every time, your fuel consumption will increase slightly. If, on the other hand, you take advantage of the earlier switching options and/or select our special Eco mode in the app, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%, depending on the product selected.
No. Our products can also be installed without expert knowledge and without the use of special tools. We include step-by-step instruction. Additionally, you can get further installation pictures or videos from us on request.
Yes. Even at low revs you can enjoy better engine dynamics. Even with short-term acceleration, there is a clearly noticeable difference to the standard condition.
No, that is not necessary. The maintenance intervals for your vehicle do not change due to the chip box installation.
No. Even with full use of the extra power on your vehicle, the oil temperature rises by a maximum of 2-3 degrees, so that the installation of an oil cooler is not necessary.
